With good physical and chemical properties of graphite materials, our graphite products are widely used in the following industries.

1. New Energy industry:
Graphite products have numerous applications in the new energy vehicle industry, and the most commonly used products are graphite crucibles and graphite saggers.
During the preparation process of the positive and negative electrode materials of lithium batteries, graphite crucibles and saggers can be used as containers for storing materials. The good thermal conductivity of graphite enables the materials to react fully within a short period of time, thus ensuring the performance of the materials.
2. Non-ferrous Metals:
Graphite products have various important applications in the non-ferrous metal industry.
Firstly, they are used as lining materials for smelting furnaces. For example, during the smelting process of non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum, graphite crucibles or graphite furnace linings can withstand high temperatures. Due to the extremely high melting point of graphite, it can endure the high-temperature environment when metals are being melted, ensuring the smooth progress of the smelting process. Moreover, it also has good chemical stability and will not easily react chemically with metals when smelting non-ferrous metals, which helps to ensure the purity of the metals.
Secondly, they are used for casting molds. In the casting process of non-ferrous metals, graphite molds are widely used. Graphite has a small coefficient of thermal expansion, which makes it maintain a stable shape in a high-temperature environment and can ensure that the non-ferrous metal products cast have precise dimensions and a smooth surface. In addition, graphite also has good thermal conductivity, which helps the molten metal to cool and solidify quickly and evenly in the mold, thereby improving the casting efficiency and product quality.
3. Powder Metallurgy:
Graphite products play an important role in the powder metallurgy industry.
Graphite can be used as the mold material in powder metallurgy. Due to its good thermal stability, it can maintain its shape unchanged during the high-temperature sintering process, ensuring the dimensional accuracy of the pressed green compact. Moreover, its self-lubricating property can reduce the friction between the powder and the mold, making the demoulding process smoother and helping to improve production efficiency.
Meanwhile, graphite is also used as an additive. During the mixing process of some metal powders, adding an appropriate amount of graphite powder can improve the fluidity of the metal powders, enabling them to better fill the mold and making the density of the final product more uniform. In addition, graphite can also prevent the oxidation of metals during the sintering process, thus improving the product quality.
4. Cemented Carbide:
Graphite products have a wide range of applications in the cemented carbide industry.
Graphite is often used as a sintering mold. Since cemented carbides require a high-temperature environment during sintering, and graphite has a high melting point and good high-temperature stability, it can withstand such high temperatures to ensure the smooth progress of the sintering process. Moreover, graphite has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and the size change of the mold is small when the temperature changes, which helps to ensure the dimensional accuracy of cemented carbide products.
At the same time, graphite is also an excellent material for heating elements. In some cemented carbide production equipment, graphite heaters can effectively convert electrical energy into thermal energy, providing uniform and stable heat for the sintering of cemented carbide, which is crucial for ensuring the quality of cemented carbide. Because uniform heating can avoid problems such as stress concentration inside the cemented carbide.
In addition, graphite products can also play a role in the grinding and polishing processes of cemented carbide. For example, graphite grinding discs are relatively soft in texture. When grinding cemented carbide, they can avoid excessive scratches on the surface of the alloy and can effectively remove surface imperfections to ensure the smoothness of the surface of cemented carbide products.
5.Aluminum Evaporation:
Graphite products are indispensable in the vacuum evaporation coating of metal films industry.
Firstly, graphite is used to make evaporation sources. Due to its high melting point and good thermal stability, it can withstand the melting temperature of metals during the high-temperature evaporation process and stably release metal atoms, allowing the metals to be evenly evaporated onto the substrate to form thin films. For example, when evaporating aluminum films, the graphite evaporation source can ensure that aluminum atoms are stably and evenly volatilized, thus obtaining high-quality aluminum films with uniform thickness.
Secondly, graphite products can also be used as heating elements. In a vacuum environment, graphite heating elements can efficiently convert electrical energy into thermal energy and quickly reach the temperature required for metal evaporation. They have a fast heating speed and high thermal efficiency, which helps to improve the production efficiency of evaporation coating. Meanwhile, the temperature distribution of graphite heating elements is relatively uniform, which is crucial for ensuring the quality of metal films. Because uneven heating may lead to inconsistent thickness of metal films or local defects.
In addition, the chemical stability of graphite also has an advantage in this industry. During the vacuum evaporation coating process, graphite will not react chemically with most metals, thus avoiding the impact on the purity of metal films and ensuring that the evaporated metal films have good performance and quality.
